Frequently asked questions
Ballroom or Latin? I know I like "Dancing with the Stars", but I'm not sure whether I'd prefer Ballroom or Latin. How do I decide?
By attending our beginner classes, you will soon discover what your preferences are.
Do I need a partner?
Although it is ideal, it is not essential to join our classes with a partner, we have instructors available to assist you. You will not be continually with one partner for the whole class as we give you the opportunity to dance with everyone.
What should I wear to my first dance class?
Nice comfortable casual wear is in order at the studio as you need freedom of movement to get the most out of your lessons. It is not essential to buy special dance shoes but a light pliable pair of well-fitting shoes will help you get best results. Stay away from flip-flops or sandal shoes as they make it difficult to move properly.
